Gardening and Nature Group Proposed Garden Visits

Hello All
I have carefully curated a list of gardens, all but Borth Y Gest Open Garden Day are NGS gardens.
We start on May 3 rd with Glyn Cywrach, Talsarnau then
Cyplau in Llanbedr on May 17 th then Hafod Garegog, Nantmor on May 24 th.
June will be Gerddi 'Stiniog 13 th and aforementioned Borth Y Gest Village Gardens on the 14 th.
And Aber Artro Hall on the 18 th or 21 st. Prebooking Essential for this last garden or you won't be allowed in .lol.
Crug Farm Garden in July and Pont Y Cribyn in Llannor near Pwllheli in August.
We will be discussing these visits on Monday March 30th at Martin's.

Gardening and Nature Group Update

Hello All
At our next meeting in Minffordd on March 30 th at 10 am Jean will be giving a talk about Garden Birds and we will be discussing visiting some very local NGS Gardens over the next few months instead of our usual type of meetings. We will discuss how best to go about it and choose our preferred dates where there is a choice of dates.
I look forward to seeing you next Monday.

Some Gardening Club News

The members of the Gardening Club have decided to change the group's name to the Gardening and Nature Club. The 2 are of course very closely related!
The next meeting is on March 2 nd at Eisteddfa Cafe Pentrefelin again. We are each bringing a plant to swap in the car park and having a garden birds talk given by Jean afterwards over a cuppa.
We then have a couple of Bank Holidays which mess up our usual meeting dates so these are the alternative meeting dates : March 30 th ( at Martin and Norma's )
April 27 th
Then we are back to the first Monday of the month in June which happens to be June 1 st.
It would be lovely to visit a garden or 2 in the April and June meetings so if you can think of anyone who would like to open their garden to us for an hour or so we would be most grateful.

New Whist group starts

Peter Salamo is starting a fortnightly Whist group to alternate with Canasta. So that's the 2 nd and 4 th Mondays of each month.
It will be at 2 pm at Glaslyn Leisure Centre, Porthmadog.
Beginners most welcome.
